Account Executive – Public Sector

About this opportunity

Following some fantastic success within local and central government (Aberdeen, Bath and North East Somerset, City of Edinburgh, Dorset, Harrow, Vale of Glamorgan, Wirral & Scottish Government) as well as Education (Nottingham Trent & Sheffield), we’re looking for an experienced Account Executive to solely focus on the Public Sector within the UK. Our growth targets are bold, and we need intelligent, successful people who have the skills, experience and track record to develop and drive growth in this already successful area.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the needs, key drivers and success factors of the clients public sector clients
  • Develop a strong understanding of the product and demonstrate expertise in solving customer problems
  • Inspire and educate net new prospects on the value of our growing solution and creatively position how it is redefining the L&D landscape
  • Nurture prospective clients through the full sales process
  • Build credibility through excellent storytelling and the ability to translate the process into terms that your customers easily understand and relate to
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our approach to net new revenue within the Public Sector
  • Lead the engagement with your clients and facilitate communications and relationships across their business and ours
  • Forecast with accuracy to help our business strategically plan our revenue growth and drive decision making
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our product by providing feedback from conversations with your customers and prospects
  • Engage with the Sales and business leadership to coordinate marketing and sales activities

About you

  • 3+ years experience in the learning technology industry
  • Experience within the UK Public sector
  • Ability to run a full sales lifecycle, start to finish
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct compelling on-site presentations and product demonstrations
  • Proven track record of establishing and managing relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Track record of overachieving revenue targets
  • An articulate and ambitious individual who loves being a team player
  • Exceptional communication skills with a proactive approach to work
